lyrics
Pack up my last north star
Into the back of my car
Race until I can't see these lights
Find a dark hole to drown tonight
Each morning before I blink
Tonight after a couple of drinks
A light flickers in the night
Reminding me everything is finite
Trying to lose what's behind these eyes
I'm sick of always feeling like I'm buying more time
I guess this time, I'll put up my hands
Protect the jaw and learn how to dance
Draw down demons above, this is my chance to draw first blood
Hiding right in front of me, silent on your killing spree
Pack up my last north star
There is no distance too far
To free myself of these scars
The sky is empty tonight
Nothing ever feels as bright
There's no remaking what's been lost
Retribution from my double cross
Every bridge burning
Never returning
Of a fire burning
And darkness lurking
This album being played over the PA system at the museum where Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" is housed is what caused the faces of the clocks in the painting to melt. meeko
Wowee !! Let me just say I drove home from work in record time ! This album is off the chain my friends ! It’s frenetic tempo is infectious and you’ll be screaming alongside them in no time. What a joy this was to listen to 💙 I’ll be purchasing their other two albums right now. Thoth’s Girl
Legit the only thing wrong with this album is that it is far too short. I would love an album like this that's twice as long! Oh well, maybe I'll just listen to it twice haha
(also just editing this for my vinyl friends, it doesn't say anywhere on the record, but this one plays at 45 rpm. Had a bit of a spook when it sounded a lot slower than I remembered lol) danielkrause
